Prairie State is pleased to welcome Alexei Cogdill as one of our Records and Information Management Interns this summer.
Alexei is from Marissa, Illinois. He currently attends Maryville University, where he is majoring in cybersecurity.
Since Alexei lives in close proximity to the campus, he has known about Prairie State since its inception. When his father noticed the internship postings, he pointed Alexei to our website. Alexei saw the Records and Information Management Internship, and he knew it would be a great fit.
Alexei is looking forward to getting experience this summer that he can carry into the future. His duties include gathering information and taking inventory of physical files that have been in storage. “I will be interviewing employees from different departments to gather information that will help the company develop a file management policy.”
In the fall, Alexei will return to Maryville to complete his degree. He plans to attend graduate school. After being in the workforce for a few years, Alexei would like to apply for a government job, possibly with the FBI.
