This year, employees from the mine, power plant, and corporate office donated clothing and toys to over 141 children in Bond, Clinton, Madison, Randolph, St. Clair, and Washington counties. On July 25, 2018, the Prairie State Generating Company (PSGC) awarded nine $1,000 scholarships to children and grandchildren of PSGC employees through its annual scholarship program.
