Prairie State Volunteers Teach Junior Achievement

Prairie State is committed to giving back to our community. One of our most successful programs has been our partnership with Junior Achievement to educate young people about work readiness, entrepreneurship, and personal finance with engaging, interactive programs. We bring this curriculum to area schools each year to help inspire and prepare our young people to take leadership roles in the global economy.

This week, volunteers from Prairie State taught the Junior Achievement In A Day program to students at Okawville Grade School in classes kindergarten through sixth grade. Prairie State has delivered this program for eight consecutive years at Okawville Grade School and truly enjoys the opportunity to interact with all of the students!
