Prairie State is excited to welcome Mason Lucas as the Electrical I/C & Mechanical Maintenance Intern this summer!
Mason will be a senior at Ranken Technical College this fall, where he studies industrial technology. He chose this major for its diversity; he’s learning about welding, hydraulics, facilities, mechanical, and electrical.
Prior to this internship, Mason has been employed at Jerry’s Landscaping since 2019. He enjoys hunting, fishing, boating, and hanging out with friends and family.
This summer, Mason is looking forward to gaining knowledge and experience in the maintenance field. He says, “I chose Prairie State to gain experience, and because this is where I would like to be employed when I finish school.”
Mason’s future goal, after completing his education, is to become a mechanical or electrical technician.
