Prairie State is pleased to welcome Logan Salger as the Electrical I/C Maintenance Intern this summer!
Logan currently attends Southeast Missouri State University (SEMO), where he studies engineering technology: electrical and automation systems. He chose this field because he finds work with electrical components interesting and enjoyable. At SEMO, Logan is a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha (PIKE) fraternity. One project that Logan has worked on is a derby car, in which he did all the wiring and enjoys altering.
Logan has previously interned at Roeslien and Associates, where he assembled SOF and units of piping and grating. He chose Prairie State because his dad has worked in the power plant as a contracted boilermaker. He has also heard good things about Prairie State from other current and former employees. He says, “I am looking forward to learning new things and getting hands-on experience in the electrical field.”
This fall, Logan will return to SEMO for his sophomore year. He plans to complete his bachelor’s degree and use that to start a good career.
