Meet The Intern: Brennan Rusteberg

Prairie State is pleased to welcome Brennan Rusteberg as our Electrical Engineering Intern this summer!

This fall Brennan will return as a senior to Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville (SIUE), where he will continue his electrical engineering studies. He chose this major because he likes working with electronics, and he is fascinated by how electricity works.

At SIUE, Brennan is the President of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He also participates in chemistry club. His past work experience includes helping professors with research projects. His hobbies are playing guitar, collecting shot glasses, and working out.

Brennan chose Prairie State because he is interested in how the power plant operates. “I am looking forward to learning anything I possibly can to improve as an electrical engineer.”

His educational goals include completing his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a math minor. He would also like to earn a master’s degree in business. His career goal is to manage and lead a group of engineers on a large-scale design project.
