Electrical I/C & Mechanical Maintenance Intern, Mason Lucas, has spent his summer performing preventive maintenance work at the plant.
Many of Mason’s job tasks included working on valves, pumps, and motors. Most of the projects he has begun have already been completed. During this summer, Mason has gained knowledge and experience in the maintenance field.
Mason has enjoyed the hands-on work this summer and the people he has worked with. He says, “My favorite part so far has been cutting links off the coal belt chain.”
Mason is still very interested in the maintenance field, and he hopes to have a career one day in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
