Intern Update: Brennan Rusteberg

Electrical Engineering Intern, Brennan Rusteberg, has spent his summer learning how to use engineering programs like AutoCAD and ETAP.

Recently, Brennan has been working on updating old relay wiring schematics to new designs, along with transferring PI tags from the distributed control system (DCS). He also learned how the DCS and programmable logic controllers (PLC) operate.

“My favorite part of this internship has been working with the people in my department. I’m glad I chose electrical engineering as a major.”

Brennan’s future plans have not changed. “I’m going to continue to do my best on whatever project I’m assigned, while being a knowledge sponge for things I don’t quite understand yet.”
