Last week, Prairie State’s Lively Grove Mine was recognized for having the lowest incident rate of a Division I mine in the state of Illinois. This honor was awarded at the annual state mine rescue contest, which hosted teams from Illinois, Kentucky, and Indiana. Lively Grove Mine Receives Holmes Safety Award
