Last month, Prairie State’s Lively Grove Mine was recognized by the Holmes Safety Association as having the Best Underground Incident Rate for the first quarter of 2019. This regional award covers mines in Washington, Jackson, Perry, and Randolph counties, and it has been earned by the Lively Grove mine five times since 2016.
We are committed to living our values, and one of the ways we show this is by continuously improving our safety practices. We are honored to be recognized with this award.
