Prairie State welcomed the 2025 Intern Class to campus on May 19, 2025. The interns will be working in numerous fields including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, accounting/finance, information technology, and communications. Intern Update: Gage Heil

Mechanical Engineering Intern, Gage Heil, has spent his summer working on a broad range of engineering projects and drawings. Gage has been building PI graphics for heat transfer and the lube oil skids, modifying piping and instrumentation diagrams, sorting and adding drawings in Document Locator, and developing piping layouts for the burner floor, among other things.
