Prairie State is happy to welcome Trent Marhanka as our Facilities Intern this summer!
Trent will return to Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville this fall, where he will be a senior studying business administration. He chose this major because it seemed to be a good field.
Trent plays intramural basketball and slow-pitch softball. He also enjoys watching sports, specifically the Cardinals and Blues. Other hobbies include golfing and long walks on the beach. Trent volunteers at the Freeburg food pantry, and his previous job was cooking at the Bullpen Bar & Grill.
The reason Trent chose Prairie State is that it was close to home. “I wanted to gain work experience, so I’m looking forward to all the new learning events.”
Trent’s goal is to graduate college and obtain a job. He may go back in the future for a master’s in business administration.
