Meet The Intern: James Inman

Prairie State is happy to welcome James Inman as our Records & Information Management Intern this summer!

James is a recent graduate of Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville (SIUE). He is studying business finance and management because these focus areas allow him many different career options to choose from.

At SIUE, James was in the fraternity Delta Chi for two years; he was the head of the Scholarship Committee and part of other various groups within that organization. He was involved in many charity events through this as well, including an Alzheimer’s Walk and Multiple Sclerosis Walk, and various events to support the Collinsville Food Pantry, Partners for Pets, and the Jimmy V Foundation.

Throughout college, James worked as a salesman at Johnny Mac’s, an electronics team member at Target, and an intern at Kennedy Wealth Group Management. “I chose Prairie State because it’s a company that will allow me to be exposed to so many different departments; this will further my career and knowledge in many different ways. I am looking forward to the experience that I will gain and the knowledge that I can use in the future.”

James plans to return to school and earn a master’s in business administration. His goal is to find a career that he truly enjoys.
