Junior Achievement: Day 1
Prairie State is excited to partner with Okawville Grade School this week for the Junior Achievement-in-a-Day (JAID) program. JAID provides an opportunity for community volunteers to partner with elementary school students to combine their real-life experience with Junior Achievement's economic-based curricula. During these sessions, students learn the relevance between what they are learning in school and the real world.
Prairie State employees presented to the kindergarten, first and second grade classes today. Check back in for a recap of tomorrow's sessions with the third through sixth grade students.
